Privacy Policy

  • If we are in touch personally, then I may hold your email address and contact details so that I can get back to you.
  • I may also keep some notes to remind me what our relationship is and what your needs are.
  • When you show an interest in therapy or business services, I may ask to contact you through Guildford Therapy Ltd, or The Finance Academy Ltd, both companies owned by me.
  • Beyond that, I won’t share your information with anybody without your consent.
  • When in therapy with you, I may keep records of sessions, plus any background information necessary in order to act professionally towards you (e.g. some medical information and emergency contacts).
  • When accounting with you, I may keep records of information necessary to file returns and conduct business.
  • In all cases, electronic records will be securely managed under password, and paper records will be kept in a locked cabinet.
  • I will hold your information for at least as long as our relationship lasts, and for as long as I am helping you.
  • After that, I may hold your information if it has contractual or statutory relevance (e.g. tax records).
  • I may hold some of your information indefinitely, as both therapeutic and business relationships can exist across the lifespan, and I want to be able to help you at a moment’s notice.
  • I will be respectful of any request to share information with you.
  • With regard to therapeutic records, I may choose not to share with you some notes about you, if I feel that showing you such notes will be harmful to you. But this is rare, and I will always be as open as possible.
  • When disposed of, both electronic and paper records will be disposed of responsibly, and so that they cannot be read or used by any third party.
  • From time to time, I may use Google Analytics and other plugins. If I do so, I will ensure you are kept informed as well as possible on this page.
